Location: Cannes, France
The key role of a trainee yacht charter broker is to provide optimum quality of service in order to ensure customer satisfaction and maximise the potential for repeat business.
Training will be provided. In the first 3 – 6 months where the trainee will act in a support/assistant role to learn the ropes.
To succeed the candidate must have a go-get attitude, be a fast learner, have the curiosity to learn more about the industry, be able to work hard in order to do well and be willing to move to the sunny South of France!
Reports To: CEO
Responsibilities:
- Be available anytime to respond to client enquiries and requests, before and during charters
- Generate satisfying levels of charter sales, as per objectives set regularly
- Generate a satisfying conversion rate
- Collaborate with the other members of the team in order to manage their clients if and when required
The Job:
- Provide rapid and excellent service, treating clients with the utmost respect
- Research and provide an accurate and well informed selection of yachts for charter to clients
- Provide information on cruising destinations
- Provide expert advice on charter yachts and activities around cruising locations
- Provide rapid and effective response to any issue arising during charters
- Maintain positive communication with all relevant stakeholders and develop quality relationships with them
- Develop one’s own network in order to grow 212 Yachts’ business
- Prepare presentations for prospective clients
- Initiate and drive marketing activities in order to find new clients, and bring back repeat clients
- Develop relationships within 212 Yachts’ current network to take advantage of cross-beneficial opportunities for the company
- Assisting with marketing efforts, company events and developing the partners network to ensure maximum reach to potential clients
- Visiting yachts and attending yacht shows will be required from time to time

Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Attitude:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree to ensure that you are able to comprehend and demonstrate complex ideas and solutions
- A passion for people and the ability to converse with high level executives and clients will allow you to network effectively and enjoyably
- A proactive, highly driven and resilient attitude will allow you to comfortably navigate through challenges faced within the role
- Strong communication, analytic and listening skills will enable you to successfully communicate with decisions makers
- A confident, self-assured personality with a strong sense of integrity to ensure that you are capable of taking ownership and ultimate responsibility for your success
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- A second language is not required but would be a big plus
