As a result the price that we propose to you is normally the best price you will receive.
Prices are usually set as standard in advance of seasons. Discounts can sometimes be arranged, however in most cases, companies will offer yacht charters at the same public price.

Charter yachts require specialised insurance policies covering liabilities, damages, and crew protection. A reputable charter manager will ensure all contracts use industry-standard agreements like MYBA, safeguarding your assets and interests.
You decide when and how often your yacht is available for charter. Many owners choose to block off personal use dates and set preferences regarding destinations and guest numbers, ensuring a perfect balance between private enjoyment and charter income.
Yes — our team custom-builds every itinerary based on your preferences, whether you want a relaxed beach escape, vibrant nightlife, fine dining, or cultural experiences.
Prices vary based on yacht size, season, and destination. For fully crewed 30m–50m yachts, expect rates from €50,000–€150,000/week, excluding VAT and expenses. For 50m+ superyachts, pricing typically starts from €150,000/week and can exceed €500,000/week.
Charter guests are typically sourced through a global network of professional brokers who vet clients for security and suitability. Marketing efforts also target high-net-worth individuals looking for exclusive luxury experiences.
Regular charters keep your yacht in active use, helping maintain mechanical systems and crew readiness. Properly managed charters follow strict maintenance schedules to protect your yacht’s condition and value.
Charters operating in the Mediterranean or other regions are subject to specific VAT and tax rules depending on flag, itinerary, and home port. Our team works with trusted fiscal agents and legal experts to ensure every charter complies with local regulations while optimising your financial returns.
Yes, you maintain full control over your yacht’s availability. We’ll build your personal use schedule into the charter calendar so there are no overlaps or conflicts.
Not if it’s managed correctly. Regular maintenance, responsible crew oversight, and careful guest screening help preserve the yacht’s condition, often improving upkeep standards compared to private use alone.
Returns vary depending on yacht size, region, and season length, but a well-run charter programme can significantly offset annual running costs. Our team will advise you transparently on income expectations before any commitments are made.
You’re never locked in. Our agreements allow flexibility if your priorities change, so we’ll handle the offboarding process and ensure existing bookings are honoured smoothly.
The timeline varies depending on availability, inspections, and legal requirements, but most purchases take 4-20 weeks from offer to completion. When it comes to off-market luxury super yachts for sale or custom negotiations, it may take slightly longer. However, with 212 Yachts managing every step, the process will remain structured and fully supported.
No. Many international buyers purchase yachts in Antibes due to its global yachting hub status. Our team can help non-EU buyers navigate VAT rules, registration, and delivery logistics, ensuring compliance regardless of your residency. Note for all legal and tax matters, we advise using an independent specialist advisor and maritime lawyers as these areas are highly complex. While a sales broker can provide general guidance, they are not qualified to offer legal or tax advice.
Yacht ownership typically requires 10-15% of the yacht’s value per year to cover berthing, insurance, crew, servicing, fuel, and maintenance. Costs vary by size, flag, and usage, and we’ll provide transparent guidance tailored to your chosen vessel.
A broker protects your interests at every stage, from sourcing yachts (including off-market opportunities) to negotiating pricing, overseeing surveys, managing legal documentation, and ensuring secure payment and transfer. We also have local expertise and follow MYBA/ECPY-backed professional standards, giving buyers confidence and discretion.
Yes. Post-purchase support is a core part of our service. We can help you with crew placement, berthing in the Mediterranean, maintenance coordination, insurance, registration formalities, and ongoing yacht management so your ownership experience is seamless from day one.
Timeframes vary depending on the yacht’s size, condition, price, and market demand. Well-presented yachts with accurate valuations generally attract qualified buyers within weeks, while superyacht sales may take many months. We’ll provide realistic guidance based on current market data.
While private sales are possible, selling a yacht, super or mega yacht, involves contracts, compliance, surveys, marketing, and negotiation that is difficult to manage alone. A professional superyacht broker, like us, can ensure global exposure, accurate pricing, secure transactions, and a smoother overall process.
We conduct detailed assessments based on comparable sales, market trends, refit history, onboard equipment and overall condition. This valuation ensures your yacht is priced competitively while still maximising your return.
Yes, many owners continue chartering their yacht during the sales process. This can strengthen the yacht’s appeal by showing operational readiness and generating income. We can advise the best approach depending on your yacht’s charter status and market positioning.
In Europe, the summer season runs from June-August. However, we do have charters that take place in the shoulder months of May and September/ early October for those who seek milder temperatures and a quieter atmosphere. Outside of these months, we’d suggest exploring yacht charters in the Southern Hemisphere.
Summer yacht charters are typically booked months in advance, particularly for high-demand destinations like the Mediterranean. Booking early offers the best choice of yachts, preferred cruising routes, and prime dates during the peak summer season.
The Mediterranean remains the most sought-after region for summer yacht charters, with favourites including the French Riviera, Amalfi Coast, Greek Islands, and Croatia. However, for those looking beyond Europe, destinations such as the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and the South Pacific offer exceptional summer cruising experiences.
A summer yacht charter generally includes the yacht, professional crew, and standard onboard amenities. Additional costs such as fuel, food, beverages, dockage, and bespoke experiences are typically covered through an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which allows for a fully tailored charter experience.
Absolutely. Many clients choose 212 Yachts for their first yacht charter. Our charter specialists guide you through every step of the process, from selecting the right yacht to planning your itinerary, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
The term “all inclusive yacht charter” is not typically used within the luxury yachting industry, as most charters do not operate on a fixed, bundled pricing model. There are a handful of exceptions to this rule and we will advise accordingly for your yacht charter.
While your broker can provide a detailed cost estimate before departure, final expenses may vary slightly depending on fuel usage, provisioning preferences, and itinerary changes during the charter. Please talk to one of our charter brokers for more information, we’re more than happy to advise.
Luxury yacht charters typically follow a structure of charter fee + VAT (where applicable) + Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). This ensures transparency and flexibility rather than a fixed price.
The APA is an advance fund used to cover fuel, food, beverages, marina fees, and other operational costs during your charter. It is fully accounted for and reconciled at the end of the voyage.
VAT depends on your cruising region and itinerary. Your charter specialist will confirm the applicable rate before the contract.
Crew gratuities are not included in the charter fee. It is customary to tip 10–20% of the charter fee, depending on service and destination.
Yes. Based on your dates, yacht, destination, itinerary and other aspects, we provide a detailed cost forecast before booking so you can plan with clarity.
Absolutely. The captain manages the APA transparently, and any significant expenditure beyond projections is discussed in advance and during the charter.
A crewed yacht charter includes the yacht itself and a professional crew, typically a captain, chef and service staff. The charter fee covers the yacht, crew salaries, and standard onboard equipment, while running costs such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and extras are usually covered via an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA).
The number of crew depends on the size and style of the yacht. Smaller luxury yachts may have three to four crew, while larger superyachts can carry a full team, including engineers, deckhands, stewards, and specialist crew, to ensure exceptional service and smooth operations.
Yes. One of the key advantages of a luxury yacht charter with a crew is flexibility. Your itinerary can be adjusted throughout the voyage based on weather conditions, preferences, or spontaneous discoveries, with guidance from your captain to ensure safety and optimal cruising.
No sailing experience is required. Your professional crew handles all navigation, operations, and onboard service, allowing you to relax and enjoy the journey without responsibility or technical concerns.
Winter yacht charters are typically in high demand, particularly in popular warm-weather destinations such as the Caribbean and Southeast Asia, as well as for limited expedition yachts in polar regions. Booking 6-12 months in advance is recommended to secure the best yacht selection and preferred dates.
Yes. Winter yacht vacations can be fully tailored for couples, families, and groups of all sizes. From child-friendly tropical itineraries to once-in-a-lifetime adventure voyages, 212 Yachts matches the right yacht, crew, and destination to your group’s needs and comfort level.
Packing depends on your destination. Warm-weather charters call for light summer clothes, swimwear, and sun protection, while cold-climate yacht charters require insulated outerwear and more thoughtful picks. Your charter specialist will provide detailed, destination-specific guidance ahead of departure.
Yacht charters in winter are planned around seasonal cruising conditions to ensure safety and comfort. Experienced captains and crews continuously monitor weather patterns and adapt routes when needed, allowing you to enjoy your charter with confidence and peace of mind.
